SFS2014 ~ July

I feel like I splurged this month. I mean technically I didn't, according to the SFS budget, but when I haven't crossed a single x in a couple of months how can I justify spending more on stitching stash? Especially this, when I've never stitched a card before in my life?

So this month's spend was...

$14.99

And so my total spend so far this year, before exemptions given to the group, has been $47.34.  I'm pretty proud of that restraint!!

I've got grand plans to spend a lot of time with this magazine... It sparked a little fire in me which nothing aside from knitting needles and yarn has done for a while.

My fingers are crossed, cause even though they've been busy, I do miss my stitchy time. I think I'm going to go put a strand in Butterfly Ballerina Blue while I watch SYTYCD tonight.  And maybe thumb through this magazine one more time!

FO: A Ribbed Infinity Scarf

Recently I finished my first knitting project after my Knitting 101 class I took in May. I love, love, love this simple ribbed scarf!

Ribbed Infinity Scarf
Cascade Yarns Pacific
Colorway: #66, Teal Heather
Needles: 5mm

The pattern is a basic 2x2 rib scarf, which I seamed together at the ends to make an infinity scarf, which I know I'll wear a lot more.

This is the first time I used this yarn, and I think I've got a little crush on it!  It's so nice and quite soft for an acrylic blend.

This scarf will keep me so warm at the rink this winter, I can't wait!!  Well, maybe I can ;o)
